News: Updates on new releases [rom and kitchen]
Hey all. I know that most users of fresh rom are used to a release a week at minimum. In it’s early stages I was releasing every other day! At this point I would consider Fresh 1.1 a mature product. Aside from a few visual things that people would change (which can easily be done using the kitchen) there are no outstanding or existing bugs. I actually don’t even have any outstanding requests. For that very reason I have been spending a lot more time on the kitchen. Also because the kitchen itself is a product that will last even after 2.1 comes out for our phones which will eventually happen!
With the help up gu1dry I have been giving the UI a major facelift. I wasn’t going to do this because it’s no where near complete, but I decided to include a screen shot of what I’ve got going on. Redoing the UI is a much bigger job than it sounds like. I won’t be releasing another version of the kitchen until it is fully functional as an actual kitchen. I hope to have this done within 1 week. I’ll keep you all updated if that changes though!

News: New URL’s and Site Slowdown
Just wanted to let everyone know that I’m in the process of replacing all of my download links (currently all are bit.ly) with ones created using my site. I use a url shortener not because the url’s need to be shortened, but because it helps me track how many click throughs there are. Additionally sometimes I host a file on my site and sometimes I don’t, so it gives a common feel for all the links. Please report any issues you have with the new links once they start showing up.
As far as reporting issues goes… my site is running extremely slow right now. My host will be notified shortly. 
Input Needed: Lock Screen Image
When I released Fresh 1.0 I also unveiled a totally clear lock screen… one that had no wallpaper at all (as a side note… I know those of you who had already picked a custom lockscreen wallpaper weren’t able to get it to go clear. I found where it was cached and included a removal tool as part of my pre-kitchen).
When I released it I included a “proof of concept” image which was a full screen lock. I knew it was ugly, but I just wanted to show what was possible and to try and generate some creativity. I made several requests for some ideas or submissions on what to put there but I didn’t get anything.
With the upcoming release of 1.1 I would like to replace the full screen lock image, however I do plan on keeping the totally clear lock screen. So I’m looking for ideas, input, submissions, or anything on what you guys can give me on what to put in it’s place. Vote on the poll below, and submit your comments.

News: Fresh 1.0 Passes 2000 Downloads
Fresh 1.0 passed 2000 downloads today! Currently sitting at 2016; an average of 126 downloads per day since it was released. That brings the total amount of downloads to around 5000 since version 0.1.
The pre-kitchen has received almost 200 downloads since it was released about 36 hours ago.
Thanks again for all the supporters! It’s been great working with all of you! I don’t have anything major planned, but 1.1 with some minor updates will be out within a week.
Are there any requests out there? And no, I can’t port anything from the 2.x builds, or from espresso. 
Wanted: Writers for FAQ / Tutorial / Help
If you have some free time and are good at writing up some how-to’s then please let me know. It has been mentioned in a few places that we really need a centralized location for noobs to android and I’d be happy to make this site that place. But I don’t have the time to do it all myself.
