News: Facebook 1.3 Not Releasing Partial Wake Lock

GeekFor.Me is long overdue for a post explaining awake time and when you should and shouldn’t worry about it, and I actually worry that this post could bring that whole debate back up, but I wanted to get this information out there.
Fresh Evo 3.1 — Changes in Evo’s 3.26.651.6 OTA

As most of you should know late last weak an OTA popped up for the Evo (3.26.651.3). Shortly after it’s release HTC tweeted that it wasn’t the official one. Today a new OTA came up and it is build 3.26.651.6. Considering HTC has been quiet, it’s presumably legit now. 
Fresh Evo 3.1 is ready and uses this update as it’s base. It’s on it’s way to donors. I have created this page to let people know what changed in the OTA. If you would like to donate to get on the beta list you can do so now (link at the top) and you will be sent the link to download.
Fresh Evo 3.0 beta 3 available for donors

Fresh Evo 3.0 beta 3 is now being sent to donors. We’re getting really close to a public release.
I had planned on distributing it through fresh updater but I found another bug that will prevent that from working without extra steps so I’m just doing it manually and including a fix in this beta. You must already be on beta 2 in order to flash the patch (and have it work properly). No data wipe is required to go from beta 2 to beta 3. I am working on adding tweaks like for vanilla lock and such. I had planned on having those up tonight but was swamped with work all day long. I’m creating a new post so that it’s separate from the bugs reported in the other one.

Fresh Evo 3.0 beta 1 is on it’s way to donors and I wanted to create a post just to outline it’s features. If you would like to try out the beta then feel free to donate and I’ll send it as soon as I get a chance. You will also be added to the list for all future beta tests and early releases. If you don’t want to donate that’s fine by me.

Coming Soon: Fresh Evo Kitchen
Fresh Evo Kitchen 2.0.0 beta 1 was just sent out to donors and testers, and I wanted to provide a quick walk through on the kitchen itself for anyone that didn’t use it on the hero. The public release is coming soon. If you would like to test it out now then feel free to donate and I’ll add you to the list.
News: HTC Facebook not Syncing Contacts

I have been getting a lot of reports over the last week or so of people not being able to sync their contacts with HTC Facebook (Facebook for Sense). It happened shortly after I released a new rom for the Evo and Hero and I didn’t see others complaining about the issue so I assumed it was something related to what I did. As it turns out this is a widespread problem that has occurred after a Facebook API change, and HTC is working on it.
