News: Peep Reports Invalid Login

I have seen a number of reports of people saying that they can’t log in to peep because it was telling them that their password was wrong. I tested it on my phone and confirmed it as an issue. I assumed it was from one of my new beta roms even though nothing related to Peep had changed. However I have now tested it on my Hero too and am seeing the same issue. Whether I use my user name or my password, and no matter which of my twitter accounts I use, Peep tells me that my log on info is incorrect. I can’t say for sure if users who already have their account setup are seeing this same error, or if it only happens when you are singing in to Peep for the first time.
This is clearly something caused on HTC’s end similar to the Facebook issue we saw a few weeks back. I just wanted to let you all know that’s not Fresh rom causing it. Thanks!
Update 8/31/10 @ 9:05pm: Thanks to some of the comments I received back on Twitter and in the comments here I realized that Twitter has made the switch to a new authorization. They notified developers in December of last year that the change was coming. Unfortunately HTC apparently didn’t get the memo. News: Forum is active

I spent about 2 weeks trying out different forums and their integration with WordPress before deciding on Vanilla forum. I got it working nicely and looking pretty and then went live with it for about 2 minutes before DeMiNe0 told me about Simple:Press which in just a few clicks integrates itself with WP and is working. So that’s what I have running now. 
The forum should be used to report bugs and submit feature requests. I’m not sure if I’ll keep WP comments enabled or not as I’m afraid it will just be people posting the same stuff in both places. But I am going to only use the forums to watch for any reported bugs or feature requests.

Coming Soon: Fresh Kitchen 3.0

Fresh Kitchen 3.0 beta 1 is on it’s way to donors and testers (v2 never even got released) and this is a place for them to discuss any issues. And trust me… there will be issues. Haha. It was a big project to add Hero and Evo support in to one and I’m sure that there are little things that I missed.
Google Announces Voice Actions – Fix on Fresh Updater (updated)

Google just announced and released Voice Actions. It is basically Voice Search 2.0 (for Android 2.2 only) and is quite awesome. For any Fresh users that have tried to use it yet you’ll notice that the install from the market fails just like it did on the Facebook update a while back. This is due to a signature issue. I actually haven’t had anyone report it yet as Voice Actions just got released a few hours ago but I wanted to stay ahead of the game and get a patch out on Fresh Updater.

Hey all. I have a question for any web designers or developers out there. I currently have a Mantis bug tracker setup at http://bugs.GeekFor.Me . I don’t have any real need for a full on bug tracker but it was a nice central location for people to go and search for bugs. However due to the large amount of reports that I got that weren’t Fresh issues I have to keep new reports locked down to only a few select users. But this can take a while for new bugs to get added, if they get added at all.
