The same questions are getting asked over and over and over again about Fresh Evo 0.5.2. Please use this FAQ to answer your questions, and use the “submit a question” to ask something!
How To: Use Clockwork Recovery ROM Manager on Evo
One annoying thing about the Evo is that NAND protection is preventing us from just installing a custom recovery. If you are new to Android, a custom recovery allows you to boot the phone up in to a recovery image that allows you to perform maintenance on the phone and to flash a custom rom. The way we have had to do it is after rooting you had to run a script on your computer every single time you wanted to get in to recovery. Thanks to koush and his ROM Manager we now have a very easy way around this problem. It’s not exactly the same as flashing a custom recovery.img but it’s so close, that you won’t know the difference! I have included the free version of ROM Manager in Fresh Evo with his permission, however if you like his work then you should really consider purchasing the premium version from the market to support his work. Just search for “rom manager.”
How To: Flash a Radio Update Sprint Evo 4g
A radio update is flashed the same way that an update.zip is flashed, however the process goes a little different once you start it. I made a little walk through for everyone out there so that they feel more comfortable doing it.

For the time being, these instructions are a copy/paste of toastcfh‘s instructions. 100% of the credit goes to him and others who helped. I am working on a GUI method for windows users. I will not be providing help with rooting for now. Please post any questions about it over on XDA. I have locked comments on this topic for the time being.
FAQ: Why is my Android phone running so slow?
Another installment in my FAQ / How To section! Something I see come up quite a lot is “for the first few days it was really fast but now it’s slowed to a crawl.” Keep in mind that our phone is a computer, so there is a reason for it! The question is how do you determine what’s wrong, and how do you fix it? I am going to assume that you are running a custom rom like Fresh Rom.
